JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates are preferred to have documentation showing proficiency in languages other than English. If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test.
• Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume. Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church, or interpreting as part of job duties, will be considered. 
• Must be willing to get a background check, including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
• Must have reliable phone service for contact.

Job Description

• Interpret for Schools, State Agencies, Attorneys, and medical appointments
• Create your own schedule; accept and decline jobs around your schedule
• Must be available at least 6 hours a week, any days or times between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Mileage is paid for every job
• Late cancellation is paid
