This is a fully remote role responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for a multi-site, multi-state workforce, while partnering closely with HR, finance, and center-level leadership to support our operational and clinical teams.You'll manage the full payroll cycle — from processing and tax compliance to reporting and audits — using payroll software and reporting tools, with minimal need for travel or in-person work. This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid grasp of multi-state payroll regulations, and the ability to work independently while coordinating across departments.What You'll DoOversee all payroll processing cycles across multiple states and work locations, ensuring accuracy and timelinessMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirementsManage relationships with payroll vendors/systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and recommend process improvementsReconcile payroll data with general ledger and support month-end/year-end close processesRespond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and leadership, resolving discrepancies promptlyPrepare payroll reports and analytics for finance and executive leadershipEnsure proper handling of garnishments, benefits deductions, bonuses, and other payroll adjustmentsSupport internal and external payroll auditsWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in payroll management or payroll operations, ideally across multiple xhyhwjd statesProficiency with payroll/HRIS systems (ADP, Paychex, Workday, or similar) and strong Excel skillsSolid working knowledge of payroll tax law, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirementsExperience reconciling payroll with accounting records and supporting auditsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote environmentClear, professional communication skills for coordinating with HR, finance, and operational leadershipBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent professional experienceExperience in healthcare or multi-site organizations is a plus
