About the Opportunity

BroadStaff is conducting a confidential executive search for a rapidly growing broadband engineering and GIS services organization seeking a high-impact business development professional to accelerate its expansion throughout the United States.

Our client, Pixel Softek, is a recognized provider of broadband network design, engineering, GIS transformation, and network data management solutions serving cable operators, fiber providers, ISPs, utilities, and telecommunications organizations throughout North America. 

This is not a sales management position and it is not an account maintenance role.

We are seeking a true hunter with established relationships within the broadband ecosystem who can open doors, create opportunities, and drive new revenue growth across strategic broadband operators and industry partners. 

What You'll Do

• Develop and close net-new business opportunities with broadband operators, ISPs, fiber providers, utilities, and telecommunications organizations.
• Leverage existing executive and operational relationships to create immediate market access.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Lead discovery discussions with engineering, GIS, network planning, construction, and operations stakeholders.
• Develop strategic account plans and long-term growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical, delivery, and pre-sales teams to craft solutions and proposals.
• Own customer relationships from initial engagement through contract execution and ongoing account expansion.
• Drive partnership development with complementary engineering, construction, GIS, and technology organizations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of telecommunications, broadband, engineering services, or related business development experience.
• Demonstrated success generating net-new revenue and opening new accounts.
• Existing relationships within broadband operators, MSOs, fiber providers, ISPs, utility broadband organizations, or related industry partners.
• Experience selling engineering services, professional services, consulting services, GIS services, network design services, or similar solutions.
• Strong executive presence and consultative sales skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise opportunities.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Broadband engineering experience.
• GIS or geospatial services experience.
• FTTH / FTTx network experience.
• OSP engineering knowledge.
• Existing relationships with engineering, GIS, network planning, construction, and operations leaders inside broadband organizations.

I have sold into telecom, broadband, fiber, utility, or ISP organizations.

I prefer creating opportunities rather than managing inherited accounts.
